Membership Policy and Rules of Shri Akhila Havyaka Mahasabha (R.)
- Eligibility for Membership: Any Havyaka man or woman aged 18 years or
older is eligible to become an individual member of this organization by
paying the membership fee applicable to their category.
- Restriction for Non-Havyakas: Women who marry non-Havyaka individuals
cannot apply for membership in the organization, as it is a community-based
entity.
- Approval Authority: The authority to accept or reject any category of
membership lies with the Executive Committee. Membership becomes valid
only after the Executive Committee's approval. If it is discovered that false
information was provided regarding eligibility, the governing body has the
right to revoke the membership.
- Voting Rights: Members gain voting rights in the organization's governing
board elections only after their membership is approved.
- Non-transferability of Membership: Membership is personal and cannot be
transferred to another individual's name.
- Termination upon Death: Upon the death of a member, their membership is
automatically terminated. Membership registered in the deceased member’s
name cannot be transferred to other family members.
Members of the organization will receive the monthly magazine "Havyaka", which
includes updates on the organization's activities, religious, cultural, and intellectual
articles, free of cost via Indian postal services.
